Spinal Cord Charity

I feel very blessed for the recovery I have made so far with my spinal cord injury. Back up are a charity close to my heart as you may know if you have read my book ‘Catch Me If I Fall’. 5% of all book proceeds are going to this amazing charity, which I hope will mount up over time.  I will give updates of the running total to those who are signed up to my blog posts/newsletters. I have also set up a just giving page to donate to Back up – should you wish to contribute please find the link below.  Thank you.

Back Up Trust

Every day this summer, six people will be injured or diagnosed with a life-changing spinal cord injury – it could happen to anyone, at any time, through something as simple as a road traffic accident, a sporting injury, or a fall.

Back Up is at the forefront of helping people adjust positively to spinal cord injury – because the support is provided by people who have been there and can understand. Back Up is there for people in their darkest hours – so they get back up to living life to the full.

Back Up supports people in hospital with their transition home and offers wheelchair skills training, mentoring and courses to help people rebuild confidence and independence after a spinal cord injury.
